  Personal guidance for devotees

  It would be nice if advanced devotees in "bhakti" could assist devotees personally or by e-mail in their conceivement of devotional service . During the festival in Italy it could be noticed that the devotees were eager to understand the spiritual topics but it was difficult for them to follow. So we need to have advanced devotees who are able to guide devotees from that point of life where they are to understand the ...more »

  It would be nice if advanced devotees in "bhakti" could assist devotees personally or by e-mail in their conceivement of devotional service . During the festival in Italy it could be noticed that the devotees were eager to understand the spiritual topics but it was difficult for them to follow. So we need to have advanced devotees who are able to guide devotees from that point of life where they are to understand the path back to Godhead. Especially for new devotees from the West it might be a cultural shock to see the truth by the mercy of our gurudev. There might be many questions but they might feel shy or afraid to ask. Advanced devotees are needed for this matter. Kanishta-adhikaris could be too "narrow-minded" to guide.

  Seva Teams

  That Seva-teams idea be resurrected by an emphasis on achieving things for Srila Gurudeva. Our sanga is blessed with the highest association and tattvas - but the flow through to practical activity seems to need some encouragement, so that the best efforts of those who are 'doers' is supported and more 'pure bhakti' goals are acheived!   That Seva-teams idea be resurrected by an emphasis on achieving things for Srila Gurudeva.

  Our sanga is blessed with the highest association and tattvas - but the flow through to practical activity seems to need some encouragement, so that the best efforts of those who are 'doers' is supported and more 'pure bhakti' goals are acheived!

  If a devotee has some inspiration to achieve something for Srila Gurudeva, then that devotee should be assisted by a seva-team framework that allows full autonomy, encouragement and administrative and other support where necessary.

  An Easy Way for People to Donate

  I humbly recommend that there should be a hyperlink, easy to find, on the websites of Bhaktivedanta Narayana where anyone can easily donate money to his cause and mission. Maybe such links exist; but, if so, they are not easy to find. I am sure Srila Gurudeva would benefit from increased funding. And certainly the living entities would benefit, by their giving donations to one in pure service to Sri Caitanya. It is ...more »

  Maybe such links exist; but, if so, they are not easy to find.

  I am sure Srila Gurudeva would benefit from increased funding. And certainly the living entities would benefit, by their giving donations to one in pure service to Sri Caitanya. It is easy to have misgivings when donating to anyone, with all the cheaters out there. There are no such doubts when giving to Bhaktivedanta Narayana.

  I see absolutely no downside to this idea. It is easy to implement. The benefits far outweigh the risks (in fact, I see no risk).

  Even better than giving people a way to easily donate, is giving people to donate, automatically, on a recurring basis, on the giver's own schedule and budget: for example, someone may want to donate US$5 a week, another may want to donate US$100 a month. A working example of this, in action, can be viewed at the Care for Cows in Vrndavana website ( http://careforcows.org/how_can_i_help/ ). I helped, in my own lowly way, by supplying them with the website code to accomplish this. I can help implement my suggestion to you as well, if you need me.

  24/7 Kirtan Wave!

  I Suggest that we here in America start a wave of 24 hour 7 day Kirtan, Since every state likes California we should organize here and learn this concept Put forth by His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada and Kick Krishna Consciousness into Orbit worldwide! including every city town, village, farm, house!
